Privacy Policy
PROPOSED draft for owner review. Not in effect and not legal advice. Items marked [TO BE CONFIRMED] must be resolved before publication.
Who we are and what this policy covers
IMS is owned and operated by [TO BE CONFIRMED] ("IMS," "we," "us" and "our").
This policy explains how we handle information when you visit imsol.io, take the Revenue Leak Assessment at assessment.imsol.io, receive our emails, or talk with us about your results. It is written for business owners and their teams.
Our partner program at partners.imsol.io has its own privacy policy for partner businesses. Where it matters to you, we explain the difference below.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete the assessment, we collect your first name, business name and business email, and, if you choose to add them, your mobile number and website. We also keep your answers and the results they produce, such as your Revenue Capture Score and priority areas. If you email us or book a conversation, we collect your name, contact details and anything you choose to tell us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and the time of the request, for security and troubleshooting. [TO BE CONFIRMED] When you take the assessment, we also record how you arrived, such as campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source), the referring site and the page you first landed on. The assessment holds these details in your browser's session storage while the tab is open.
Fonts on the assessment. The assessment page currently loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. [TO BE CONFIRMED]
Information stored on your device. Our website remembers your analytics choice in your browser's local storage. The assessment also keeps a copy of your submission, including your contact details, answers and results, in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is not sent to us by this means, and you can clear it by clearing your browser's site data. [TO BE CONFIRMED]
Analytics. On imsol.io, if you allow it, Google Analytics (measurement ID G-07HPH6856Z) collects the pages you view and the buttons you click, along with device, browser, approximate location and how you arrived. [TO BE CONFIRMED] The assessment works differently; see "Analytics and cookies" below.
How we use information
- To calculate and show your assessment results and email you a copy.
- To follow up about your results, including offering a complimentary 15-minute conversation. There's no obligation.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot our website and assessment.
- To improve the assessment questions, scoring and our services.
- To send you occasional updates about IMS, which you can opt out of at any time (see "Email" and "Your choices"). [TO BE CONFIRMED]
We may use responses to generate aggregate insights about how businesses capture revenue opportunities. Published findings will not identify you or your business without permission.
If you took the assessment through another business's link
Some businesses offer the Revenue Leak Assessment to their own customers through IMS. If you took the assessment through a link from one of those businesses, that business receives your contact details and results, and you may also receive relevant follow-up from them. Their own privacy policy applies to how they use it.
IMS does not use those submissions to market our own services to you, or to compete with the business that sent you the link, unless you separately ask us to.
After you submit the assessment, we send your results by email and a small number of follow-up emails about them. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us at the contact address below. [TO BE CONFIRMED]
Phone and text messages
Your mobile number is optional. If you provide it, we may use it to contact you about your results. We do not send marketing text messages unless you separately opt in to a specific text program. Providing a number or submitting the assessment does not by itself authorize marketing texts.
If you opt in to texts, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Analytics and cookies
On imsol.io. We use Google Analytics 4 only if you select Accept analytics in the cookie banner. If you decline, or make no choice, Google Analytics does not load. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of each page. If you switch analytics off, Google Analytics stops collecting on this site from that point and we try to remove its cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>) from your browser. Information already collected is not removed by this setting.
On the assessment. The assessment at assessment.imsol.io is a separate site. Your cookie choice on imsol.io does not carry over to it. [TO BE CONFIRMED]
When it runs, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>) that can last up to 2 years (some browsers limit them to about 400 days). We do not send your name, email, phone, business details, answers or scores to Google Analytics, we do not use it for advertising, and Google signals are off. [TO BE CONFIRMED]
We do not use advertising cookies. More detail is in our Cookie Notice.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate protections. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep assessment submissions, results and related records for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services, keep your results available, follow up, improve the assessment, meet legal obligations and prevent misuse, unless you ask us to delete them and the law allows it. [TO BE CONFIRMED]
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to applicable law. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and change your analytics choice with Cookie settings. [TO BE CONFIRMED]
If you took the assessment through another business's link, we may need to coordinate with that business to complete your request.
